So I have an interview tomorrow for a senior interactive designer position @ VerticPortals.  I’m hoping they dig my work and I can be eloquent enough to strike interest in them.  I’m really tired of no real job and it only hurts my chances to get a good gig the longer I am out of the job circle.  So I know I ask for a lot big guy but if you’re still cool with me I’d appreciate a little help tomorrow.  I need your help, please.

Well, good night internet. Here’s to hoping tomorrow’s interview goes as good as I want it to.  I will post back about how it went along side me dinging the side of my buddy Shahriar‘s Macbook Pro :( fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!

That’s the difference between truth and fiction, fiction has to make sense.

The hardest thing to learn in life is which bridge to cross and which to burn.

Lord, give me patience to gain wisdom…please.

It’s like the Devil in me saw the God in you…

The car crash that killed Nujabes took place on February 26, 2010, the same day a magnitude 7.3 earthquake struck off the coast of Japan. Nujabes’ death was only publicly confirmed by Hydeout Productions and by his friend and collaborator,Shing02, today; he was buried by his family in a private ceremony.

I can sincerely say I’ve never been this upset about a music artist/producer passing away.  His music was amazing and his style was unique. He was always avoiding the limelight and kept to himself.  I hope that Hydeout Productions will find a way to go on and uphold the vision that Jun had for it. One of the reasons I noticed a rebirth of hip-hop was through one of his albums.

I’m sure the hip-hop community and beyond feel saddened by the loss of such great talent.  His music expanded past hip-hop and reached people that normally wouldn’t listen to this type of genre.

If you didn’t enjoy his contribution to the underground hip-hop world during his life then here’s your chance to become aware of who he was. I was a big fan, you will be missed, rest in peace.

Give me the strength to be who I was and forgive me for who I have become.

Anyone out there watch Rifftrax movies? They’re fucking hilarious and worth the 2 bucks to buy their track overlays; of course you could get them “elsewhere”.  It’s completely worth looking into them.

Here are some trailers of my favorites:

Little River Band – Reminiscing
From the LP: Reminiscing (circa 1978)

Its funny how a song can take you back to a time where things were simpler.  Not because of the title but just the melody tugs and some random string in the back of your heart.  The result? A rush of sentimentality for a time that had passed and apparently still very alive in that corner of your heart.

Fuck the endangered animals, no one complains about the extermination of good music in the 2000′s.  I don’t think I’m the only one that thinks this way, I miss music that would stir thoughts and ideas and not merely told because they were being sung to you.

Random fooling around in photoshop. Needs further exploration.
